Mercy Rain is a Southern Gospel Group based out of Lexington, SC. They want to share the message of faith, hope, love and salvation to all they can along the way. Mercy Rain was founded by current member and manager, LaVerne Sanders and former member, Kevin Kearns, in October of 1998. Since that day, God has blessed them with an awesome blend of harmonies, talents and sincerity. Members have changed from time to time, but God has always placed the appropriate people at the right time to share His message. Mercy Rain is about to embark on their 21st year in the ministry and God has been with them each step of the way.
The current members of Mercy Rain are: LaVerne Sanders, Angela Parker and Rick Brock. There are also members in the background that are vitally important to keep them running smoothly and sounding right. They are: Noah Sanders (Driver/Equipment Manager) and Keith Sanders (Sound Technician). LaVerne and Mercy Rain provide an awesome testimony and collection of music that will bless and uplift you.

LaVerne Sanders resides in Lexington, SC with her husband, Noah and son, Keith. LaVerne has been singing since the age of 8, singing for special meetings in the Tri-State area of Florida, Alabama and Georgia. She is also one of the surviving members of 'The Master's Quartet' based out of Bascom, Florida. The group had a tragic accident on October 6th, 1994 in Montgomery, Alabama. The other three (3) singers and the piano player lost their lives in this accident. She has overcome many obstacles and still faces struggles everyday. However, she allows God to use her talents for Him and will continue to do so until the Lord calls her home. You will definitely be blessed by her testimony, talent and spirit. Angela Parker also resides in Lexington, SC with her husband, Jack, and their five (5) children, McKenzie, Christian, Brennah, Noah, and Brett. She is also LaVerne and Noah's daughter. She is no stranger to Southern Gospel Music, having traveled and sang at some of her mother's singing engagements throughout her life. She was raised on Southern Gospel and continues to follow that path to this day. She actively advocates for Autism Awareness and works with Autistic children providing ABA Therapy. She speaks out against Domestic Violence having been a victim of abuse for many years herself. Her testimony will help others see how God can deliver you from abuse and help you heal after. She loves the Lord with all her heart and has been blessed with awesome talent and love for others. You will be blessed by her talent and great spirit!

Rick Brock is from the Bluegrass State of Kentucky. Born and raised on a small farm in Stanford, He was saved when he was 9 years old. He started singing Southern Gospel music with his Family quartet when he was in the 6th grade. He has traveled and sung in over 12 states across the South and the Northeast while with his family group and two other Maryland regional trios. He came to Georgia in 2005 and continued to sing as a soloist in area churches and within his home church at Trinity Baptist Church in Martinez, GA. He has appeared on TV and numerous times on radio and is extremely pleased to be back singing in a Southern Gospel group. Over the years, he has been a part of 6 Gospel recordings and his latest CD release is called 'One Man Quartet'. Rick and his wife Doreen currently make their home in Grovetown, GA.
Mercy Rain has had the pleasure to be in concert with some of the finest names in Southern Gospel Music, such as: Karen Peck and New River; Naomi & The Segos; Danny Funderburk and Mercy's Way; The Down East Boys; The Dixie Melody Boys; Three Bridges; The Chuckwagon Gang, Heirline, etc.
Mercy Rain has one goal and that is to use their time and efforts to see lost souls come to Jesus and be ready for the Kingdom. They also strive to uplift a brother or sister that may be struggling along the way. Be sure to come out and see them when they are in your area!
